Please join the Hopkins community for their upcoming volunteer event focused on garlic mustard removal in Hopkins, Minnesota. We will begin in Shady Oak Pond (the location of our Buckthorn removal in the fall), and add additional locations depending on volunteer turn-out. 

What to Expect:

  • Training: We will provide a brief training session on how to effectively identify and remove garlic mustard.

  • Tools: We will have all the necessary tools and equipment for the removal process. Please bring gardening / work gloves if you would like.

What to Bring:

  • Dress appropriately for outdoor work (sun protection, sturdy closed-toe shoes).

  • Water bottle to stay hydrated.

  • Gloves to protect your hands and if you have your own weeding tool.
