Troop 123 has been Scouting for over 50 years.

From high adventures across the country to our own Voyager Bay camp, we have great traditions of advancement, camping, involved Scouts, and a lot of Eagles.

Join the fun!

We welcome all new Scouts and their families to Troop 123! A new Scout might be a:

·       Webelo who is about to cross over

·       Kid who is brand new to Scouting

If your kid loves the outdoors, service, fitness, and leadership growth, Troop 123 is a great fit. We have many activities throughout the year that get the Scouts outside and active. Our Scouts go sailing at Seabase, backpacking at Philmont, dog sledding at Okpik, and not to mention all of our Minnesota campouts.

A unique feature of Troop 123 is Voyager Bay. At so many of our Eagle Board of Reviews, we hear from our Scouts that their most memorable times in Scouting were spent at our beautiful camp. From unlimited access at the shooting range to drifting around in sailboats, the Scouts love it up there!

From April through October, we have weekend campouts, and in June we spend a memorable week for summer camp.

The Scouts lead the way with incredible ideas for fun – campwide Capture the Bucket, bonfires with skits, Patrol Olympics. And of course, they leave with plenty of merit badges after a week in the woods.

If you are new to Scouting, we are here to help! Need help understanding patrols, advancements, merit badges, camping, high adventures, or anything else? We have an active group of parent volunteers and three Scoutmasters who are happy to help. Send us a note at t123soth@gmail.com!

Troop 123 expanded in 2019 to welcome girls into a parallel troop. The boys are in 3123, and the girls are in 5123. We are proud of our integrated activities. We share our weekly meetings, summer camp, and merit badge sessions.
